Welcome readers, its January and that can only mean one thing for us car enthusiasts, its time for the 2012 Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, AZ. And while I'm not going to be their, I do have a great seat for the action, right in front of my television set and I'm tuned in to SPEED Channel.

One auction vehicle that rolled across the auction block that got my attention earlier tonight was Brad Keselowski's Talladega 2010 winning racecar from Penske Racing that hammered away for $250k, plus an additional $350k from 2 other people being donated to the charity with ALL PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT PARALYZED VETERANS OF AMERICA.

I do love it when NASCAR invades the Barrett-Jackson especially with racecars being auctioned off for charity.
