It has been a long week for Brad Keselowski for sure. Last Wednesday, Brad was testing with his #2 Miller Dodge Cup Series team at Road Atlanta when during testing, Brad had a practice crash. (Read entire article)

But fast forward to earlier today at Pocono Raceway where the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series were in action for the Good Sam RV Insurance 500 were after a hour plus long rain delay with 76 laps to go, Brad Keselowski took the lead late on a restart and held off a charging Kyle Busch to capture his third career Cup Series victory.

Personally as a fan of Brad Keselowski, I believe that Brad is showing exactly what he can do in a Cup Series car.

But even more in terms of the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series points standings, this win at Pocono puts Brad Keselowski in a good position as he moves unofficially into the 18th spot. And more importantly, as this is his second win of the season, it puts him in one of the two wild card chase spots with just five races to go and currently he is the only driver in 11th through 20th that has two wins.

Notes from Pocono:

1. Jimmie Johnson continues to makes moves in preparations for the upcoming Chase for the Sprint Cup Series finishing in the 4th spot. But in the final laps, Jimmie Johnson and Kurt Busch had there own issues including contact and ended up with a somewhat heated discussion on pit road in front of the cameras.

2. Dale Earnhardt Jr. ran in the top 10 for most of the day and ended up with a solid 9th place finish.

3. Jeff Gordon makes an impression as well as he finishes in the 6th spot.

Next up is Watkins Glen next Sunday.
