I can’t vision buying a concept car for 3 million dollars, let along the one and only project F-88, that Oldsmobile created to complete with the Chevy Corvette, its makes you wonder why Oldsmobile/General Motors didn’t put this into production, but what a concept and it look very similer to the 1953-1955 Chevrolet Corvette and I love the first corvette..
The “MaxHEMI”: A Special entry built on “American Hot Rod” by the legendary Boyd Coddington with design and fabrication input from Max Cohen, a Make-A-Wish kid created a 1963 Dodge Polara 2 Door thats powered by a new 572 CID Hemi crate motor. All proceedes of the sale of this magnificent Hot Rod go directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. (Read Lot Number with Photo).
I did watch these episodes of American Hotrod and a 1963 Dodge Polara would not have been the first car that I thought of to make into a hotrod, but thats what makes it so cool..its a hotrod that looks great and was designed by a 16-year old kid, great job.. Boyd Coddington is also auctioning off a 1942 Ford Woody featured on “American Hotrod” too.
