The Camaro in 2009?

2009 Chevrolet Camaro Concept: A new production Camaro could be in the works, leave it to the internet to find some leaked photos of what this 1967-1969 Camaro could look like. The debut of the camaro concept could be at the 2006 NAIAS in Detriot. (Read)

A 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 in a special paint scheme will be the official pace car of the 2006 Daytona 500 with “The Tonight Shows” Jay Leno behind the wheel. (Read - Autoblog)

IROC: IROC has released a four-race schedule that includes:Feb 17th - Daytona International Speedway, April 7th - Texas Motor Speedway, June 29th - The 3.56 mile Road Course at Daytona International Speedway and the finale on Oct. 28 - Atlanta Motor Speedway. (Read)
Great idea, two trips to Daytona, how original, on the plus side, adding a road course is a good thing for the IROC Series, but I don’t like the removal of Richmond, first the Truck Series and now IROC, who’s next…

But One Thing: As a NASCAR Nextel Cup fan, Now that the Chevy Camaro could be a reality in 2008, I would love the idea of having the Camaro/Mustang/Challenger on the NASCAR tracks completing.. that would be a great sight to see.. plus I like to see something on the track that I can buy in the showrooms, they also look more like racecars that is two-doors and rear-wheel drive…

Update: This question was asked, Am I a fan of the Car Of The Future?NO, It doesn’t look like anything period, it has some good ideas incorporated in to it, but I have seen photos of the cars and they look stupid. I want to see something that looks real in the Nextel Cup Series… Cost is too high and not worth it. Take the safety and go to a better car.
