What a weekend...

First in the World Finanical 200 for the Craftsmen Truck Series race under the lights on Friday night, Ron Hornaday Jr, after fighting his way up through the field and in the closing laps off the corner on the bottom side, getting out of shape and gathering it back up to win the race by .008 seconds over Bobby Labonte.

The big story this weekend, Carl Edwards has done it, in one weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Carl has pulled off not only his first NASCAR Busch Series victory in the Aaron's 312 on Saturday, but today, pulling off in a last lap pass on the high side to win his first victory in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race over Jimmie Johnson in the Golden Corral 500.

Now Carl Edwards joins an elite group in not only being a rookie in both the Busch Series, with running for rookie of the year and in the Nextel Cup Series were he is a rookie and winning in all three of NASCAR's major races series, Last year in the Trucks Series and now, this weekend, in the Busch & Cup Series. A little extra info.

The Indy Racing League this past week, announced that in 2006, the Indy Cars are going to be changing there fuel to Ethanol (E85).

Just like the IRL changed, I hope all racing series are running better fuel types in the future and they all have many different options available to them.
